UPDATE - The truck is fixed and off the road!

A huge thank you to everyone who reached out to help, and especially to our good friend Michael Rush for tracking down someone who could get us the part at 7:30 on a Friday evening. We truly appreciate all the support!

Any semi truck guys near Delphi, Flora, or Burlington have a serpentine belt for a 2017 Pete 579? We have a truck broke down on State Road 29.

The last two days have been nonstop around here — it feels like we roll from one busy season straight into the next.

Yesterday we got a load of baby pigs, and Sloan helped Papaw and Daddy unload pigs. Cody baled hay yesterday afternoon and hauled a load of pigs yesterday evening while Roger finished planting corn late last night. Nate, Cooper, and Andrew worked dirt. Today Nate hauled 3 loads of pigs, Grant worked dirt, and Cody officially finished planting beans as of 9:00 tonight… hallelujah 🙌🏼

But the day doesn’t stop there. We’ve got a load of baby pigs coming in at 1 AM that Cody will unload before heading to Louisville to deliver a load of lumber.

Our new bin is officially up, and I still can’t get over how massive it is — it makes everything else around it look tiny!

The rest of the week you can find us baling hay, giving shots, washing trailers, and trucking. 😴

Today turned out to be such a beautiful day! We had a late start to planting, but the guys worked hard this afternoon to make up for it. Grant and Nate took the tenders to the field this afternoon. Cody planted beans while Roger planted corn, and Grant and Nate also worked dirt.

Nancy, Grandma Richard, Sloaney Bug, and I surprised the guys with dinner tonight. We brought hamburgers, pasta salad, potato wedges, and chocolate chip cookies.

Now it’s time to get some rest so we can do it all again tomorrow!

Another busy spring day in the books. Landmark Ag Solutions brought us seed this evening, and Sloan was right there in the middle of the action, soaking it all in and watching every move… although she may have been caught laying down on the job. Cody loaded out of our 700 farm, Roger and Nate were planting, Cooper and Grant were working dirt, Jack was busy filling tenders, fueling tractors, and loading pigs, and Pappy hauled waxy today.

Sloan even made sure Papaw got dinner and checked in on him before the “boss” called it a day.

Sunset views like tonight never get old—grateful for these long, full days and the team that keeps it all moving.

Plant ’26 kicked off yesterday 🌱

Sharing a little snippet of some of the sweet memories we’ve already made along the way. Grateful for another season and all the moments in between.

Another busy week with loads 🚛

Enjoy this picture of Sloan cheesin’ because she got to ride in the semi with Daddy… or maybe she’s cheesin’ because she pulled Daddy’s trailer brakes and the semi came to a stop 😅

Either way, she was living her best life.

The last two weeks have been nonstop around here — over 40 loads! 🚛💨

That means we haven’t gotten to see much of Dad at night… so tonight, we changed that.

We skipped our normal bedtime routine and hit the road with him for a short load. Sometimes you just have to make time for what matters most 🫶

We’ve gotten quite a few messages and comments asking how the bins were rigged and moved — so here’s the scoop! 👇

We’re lucky to have a great crew from RIPCO Systems out here working on our bin project. They’ve been in charge of the entire moving process, and it’s been amazing to watch their expertise in action. From the rigging to the actual move, everything has been handled safely and efficiently by their team.

Here’s a quick breakdown of what’s been going on:
• The bin that was next to our dryer was moved out to the new bin pad for our grain leg
• The bin that was next to our shop was then moved over to the dryer to replace it

They poured the footers today for our new bin pad! 🙌

We appreciate all the interest — it’s been a fun (and busy) process to watch.
