Over 60 loads hauled in the last two weeks, and our guys have been putting in the hours!

After plenty of early mornings, long days, and working late Saturday night, we officially finished our last field of beans! We couldn’t be more thankful for the hard work and dedication our crew has put in to keep things moving.

Now it’s time to finish up corn harvest!

And let’s be honest, you just can’t beat an Indiana sunset during harvest. There’s something special about these early mornings, long days, and beautiful views that remind us just how blessed we truly are.

There’s no such thing as a 9–5 in farming, and these two are proof of that! The hard work, dedication, long hours, and sacrifices they make to keep the farm going never go unnoticed.

Day 2 of harvest is complete!

Which honestly seems so weird to say this early into September. Harvest snuck up on us FAST this year! I personally think the strange weather we’ve had played a big part in it. It feels like we’ve had more rain throughout July and August than we normally do, and somehow we went from watching green fields grow to combines rolling before we knew it.

Of course, Sloan had to go see Papaw today, and there was no way she was going to pass up a ride with Daddy. 🥹 She loves watching the hopper fill up with beans and gets so excited when the auger comes out and starts unloading. It’s amazing how much she already notices and understands about what’s happening around the farm.

Raising a farm kid truly is one of the best parts of this life. She gets a front-row seat to agriculture—to see where our food comes from, watch the seasons change, ride alongside the people she loves, and grow up understanding the hard work that goes into every acre.

Some days are long, harvest can be stressful, and farming definitely keeps us on our toes, but moments like these are such a good reminder of how blessed we are. I’m so thankful we get to live this life and, even more, that we get to raise our little girl right in the middle of it. 🤎

Two days down and plenty of acres to go.

First day of harvest is officially in the books!

There’s nothing quite like the first day of harvest. After months of planting, praying, watching the weather, and putting in countless hours, it’s finally time to see the result of all that hard work. There’s always a mix of excitement, nerves, and gratitude when the combine makes that first pass through the field.

Today was made even sweeter with two of the best little helpers, Greyson and Sloan, right there taking it all in. 💚 These are the days and memories that make all the long hours worth it. And of course, after a successful first day, we had to make time for a little after-harvest fun tonight!

We’re thankful to have another harvest season underway and praying for good yields, good weather, and most importantly, a safe harvest for everyone. Wishing all of our fellow farmers a safe and successful season ahead.

Roger climbed the grain leg this morning and was able to capture some amazing pictures of the farm from a whole new perspective. 🌾📸 There’s something special about seeing the hard work and dedication that goes into agriculture from above.
