Look at that color! Our Saperavi grapes are coming in nicely as we continue along with our harvest! Saperavi is one of only a handful of teinturier varieties, meaning it has a red flesh and skins, creating deep purple and ruby hues in the w**e, something you can certainly see in these grapes!

More harvest content with different grapes to come, so stay tuned!

We had some very special guests at the w**ery yesterday! The Academic Pediatric Association, of which our owner Karen is the president of, came for a tasting and vineyard tour!

They tasted our Vidal Blanc grapes, both our Dry Vidal Blanc and Vidal Blanc Ice W**e, a lovely comparison of dry and sweet w**es both made from the same grape varietal! Our Vineyard Manager Joe led the tour and participated in the tasting as well!

You can stop by and try both of these w**es yourself at Knapp W**ery’s tasting room, we’re open every day!

With the turn of the season, we are getting ready for a particularly spooky party for our w**e club members! On Sunday October 25th, join we are calling our w**e club members to join us from 2-4pm in the Knapp W**ery tasting room for our quarterly pick-up party! We will have w**e pairings wth light bites, and some halloween-themed activities!

The party is open to w**e club members only plus one guest (any other guests are required to pay a $5 entrance fee). Guests can sign up online under the “upcoming events” page on our website, by emailing our w**e club manager Jen at Jen@knappw**e.com, or by calling the w**ery.

If you’re interested in signing up for the w**e club and hanging out with us on the 25th, please call the w**ery and talk to an associate, or stop on by!

For this w**e club shipment, our selections are Brut, Merlot 2022 (Club Exclusive), 2024 Barrel Aged Chardonnay, and 2025 Siegerrebe. If you are interested in changing your order, send Jen an email at Jen@knappw**e.com!

Let’s toast to a great harvest! Harvest is underway and our Siegerrebe grapes are already picked! Here are some gorgeous sunset pictures and our vineyard crew hard at work! It is customary to bless the grapes with the previous vintage, we pour some in and then toast! Keep hanging around for more harvest content as we continue our w**emaking process!!
