We are stocked to the roof and I’m so grateful. Sitting back after organizing, disinfecting, and re-stocking, I can’t help but be grateful to everyone involved in helping me to help others. Ruth with Waste Management - Romulus, MI has provided so many meal kits to our residents and we still have some available! My dear friend Haley was so kind to send me a generous monetary donation to help with groceries for the blessing box, our friend and neighbor Diana had a Kroger order delivered to our doorstep this week! I also have an ex-customer and community member named Laura that has so generously sent over 2 seperate virtual monetary donations during times of very low stock. I’m also trying to go through messages to find the woman who generously donated foods as well as can openers for canned goods! She deserves a special thank you 🤍 Jay the owner of Polka Dots blessed us with fresh fruit and bagels this week too!The overwhelming support is the reason I’m able to continue doing this. I don’t ever want to embarrass people by sharing their stories but I cannot tell you how many moms, disabled people, seniors, neighbors and even HIGH SCHOOLERS have reached out to me to express insane gratitude for our blessing box. All of you help to make a difference. I was even served yesterday and the girl that served me was once an enemy that I PRAYED for, but she served me with a bag of donation items and I give her so much credit for that because girly how imma be upset when you’re being so humble and giving? 🥰🤣 Seriously though, I am so grateful! My best friends mom, Sue, is a dental hygienist and she sent me a very generous donation of toothbrushes and toothpaste and I’m also STILL blessed with a handful of liquid ibuprofen all thanks to the help of Elmwood Blessing Box! It TRULY has been so amazing to see everyone helping one another. Prayer works. Being a good person works. Helping one another WORKS 🥹🫶🙌🙏 If we all shared our extras, no one would suffer!! GOD BLESS YOU ALL✝️
