I stand here pondering life on a muddy, rainy morning while I hold Jessie’s “train” so it doesn’t drag in the mud and it stays nice and even on her udder. The other cows are ok if I hook it over a nearby 2x4 but not Jessie! As a true princess she likes her train held just so. Or she will kick the milker off, you see? But she gives a nice creamy milk, so… here I stand!

Early Bird Sale! This Saturday get a refill for $5 instead of $7 if you show up at market before 10am. Or get a free refill if you bring two empties to exchange. It is Addy’s last day of school “play day” on Saturday and we all want to be there for the afternoon festivities, so we will be leaving market early.

Where’s our girl Olivia? The little calf Olivia grew up and is our newest milk cow! (We call her Ollie, she’s the one in the foreground.) and yes we have to look twice to know if it’s she or Cookie. She gives us lots of milk and follows us around like a puppy. Definitely a keeper!
We will have her milk at clarkforkrivermarket this Saturday as well as milk from both Jessie and Cookie. Come replenish your stash!
