I know I say this every year but Paris orchards is what it is because of every single one of you. The upickers are truly the heart of this operation, and we couldn't do this without you all, thank you. The love, support and encouragement we receive during the season is what fills our hearts and keeps us going. The highlight of my season is seeing all your smiling faces again and meeting new ones. We are looking forward to doing it all again next year. Now if you will excuse me, I am going to go watch my son earn the title of United States MARINE.

It's always a sad day when we have to make an end of season post. We are planning the last day to be Sunday August 23rd, that is if we don't sell out before then. There is still a few fantasia's, firebrights, ohenrys, elbertas and Asian pears available. Come see what you can find!

Tomorrow August 17th we will be opening for the firebright nectarine the elberta peach and the O'Henry peach. This will be at our 331 N Curry rd location, our hours will be from 7am to 4pm. Peaches will be $1.50 a lb and nectarines will be $1 a lb. These will be our last varieties we will have available. There is also some nice fantasia's and Asian pears left as well. Hope to see you all this week!

We will be opening tomorrow August 15th for the Asian pears. We have several varieties, greens, yellows and browns with 20th century and shinseiki being our most abundant. They will be at our 331 N Curry rd location for $1.25 a lb. Our hours are from 7 am to 4 pm. Be sure to stop by the stand and get directions.

On to other news... the 49 peaches are all picked out, we will be opening another variety of peaches in the next day or two, the improved elbertas. The fantasia nectarines are still holding on! They will be out there longer then expected, still sweet and juicy. And we still have the firebright nectarine that we will be opening as well in the next couple days. It's not over yet folks, look forward to seeing you!

Thank you all so much for the amazing turn out on the sale of the red gold nectarines, you never disappoint me. The sale has now concluded, but to show our appreciation, we would like to offer you the remaining nectarines for $1 a lb for the rest of the season. That will include the fantasia's, firebright and what may remain of the red golds. I did open a new section for picking of the fantasia's this afternoon. With this early ripening, I fear they will not last much longer then a week or so until we are scraping the bottom of the barrel, so come get them while they last.

We still have a few 49er peaches available, they will stay at $1.50 a lb. And we do have a couple varieties of peaches left this season, jh hale, elbertas, o Henry's, and faretime. I will post when each variety comes available. We will also be having our Asian pears available soon so keep an eye out for those.

And also... I really liked the whole closing at 4 thing we did last week, so I'm thinking 7 am to 4 pm will be our regular hours for the remainder of the season. If you desperately need a time later in the day just give me a jingle and we will work something out!
