What do you want more of in 2026? If it's super fine flowers I've got you! There's still space on my Spring Flower Subscription. Sign up now and get 6 weeks of mostly ranunculus and peonies starting in April. It's wonderfully simple.
I want so much for this year - less cruelty, a just world, to put real people back on top and kick the legs out from under this system run by and for billionaires. How do I get all that? I'm not totally sure.
But I am giving much thought to where and how I spend my money. I want to put my hard-earned dollars into the hands of real people. I want to fund small businesses and people I support. Whenever possible I'm spending with the businesses that will build up community, bring positive things to the world and at the very least not actively support harmful practices such as paying starvation wages, funneling money to 🧊 or funding genocide.
Is this possible 100% of the time? Probably not. But that doesn't mean I can't try.
So if you're feeling despair about the state of the nation and the greater world I say grab something small and realistic that you can do that adds to the greater good. The only way out is together.
And there's nothing wrong with indulging in some beauty along the way 🌷🌸🌹🌺🌻🌼

Big ol' dahlia tuber sale going on over here!!!

I'm selling dahlias by the crate. Each crate is a lucky dip in a specific color palette. I can name most varieties you'll find in each crate but I can't guarantee which tubers/clumps are which and how many you'll get of each variety.

$50 buys a crate size selection of minimally washed, minimally divided tuber clumps for you to store, divide take cuttings from in the spring or simply plant if you want the no fuss route. (P.S. you don't get to keep the crate, it's just for measurement/transport.)

Here's the palettes to choose from -

πŸ’œ Purple/Wine/Burgundy - includes Mambo, Ivanetti, Lilac Bull and some mystery varieties

🩷 Pink/Blush/White - includes Café au Lait, Caitlin's Joy, Bridezilla

β™₯️ Red/White - includes Cornel, American Dawn, Bridezilla

πŸ’› SOLD OUT Brights/White - includes Polka, Golden Scepter, Bridezilla and some mystery orange varieties

🀍 Whites - includes Bridezilla, L'Ancresse and a mystery smaller variety

I'm open to preorders. The best way to contact me is via email - [email protected]. You can direct message me but if you try and reach me by Facebook Messenger be aware, it's glitchy and unreliable so if you don't get a response try me on email.

I will be at on Saturday, November 29 for order pick-up and will have any unsold crates available for sale. If you want to buy multiple crates we might be able to work out a drop-off/meet-up.

This is a great way to get loads of flowers next summer and perfect for the keen gardener or someone who wants to learn more about growing dahlias. I can give you some pointers on dahlia tuber care and propagation and point you in the direction of some expert sources. But overall this is a choose your own adventure scenario - do what suits you!
