🇺🇸 Happy Fourth of July from our family to yours. ❤️

Long before there was Heartland Wines, there was a family, a farm, and a love for this land.

Today, we’re grateful for the generations who came before us, for the freedoms we celebrate, and for the opportunity to share this special place with our community.

Wishing you a joyful Independence Day filled with family, friends, and memories that last for generations.

Meet one of the hearts behind Heartland. ❤️

For Christine, Heartland isn’t just the name of our winery—it’s home.

Her family has worked the land in Nelson County for five generations, and the grapes in every bottle are grown at Grapelawn, the family vineyard that has been producing exceptional fruit for more than 20 years.

Heartland was built on family, community, and a love for this place we call home.

Whether you’re celebrating the holiday weekend with us or picking up a bottle to take along, we’d love to welcome you.

If this space feels familiar, you’re right.

What was once the tasting room for Blue Toad Hard Cider - Virginia is now home to Heartland Wines. While Blue Toad continues pouring cider next door in the Cider Hall, we’re excited to begin this next chapter.

This is only our sixth weekend, and we’re just getting started.
We’re proud to be part of this special property and even more excited to share the story behind Heartland—one rooted in family, generations of farming in Nelson County, and a love for bringing people together.
We’re pouring until 5 today. We’d love to welcome you!

Some of life’s greatest lessons are passed down.

A love for the land.

A strong work ethic.

The importance of family.

This Father’s Day, we’re raising a glass to the dads, grandfathers, and generations before them who helped shape the stories we carry forward.

Happy Father’s Day from all of us at Heartland Wines.

The winery may be new.

The story is not.

For generations, our family has worked the land here in Nelson County. Today, the grapes that become Heartland Wines are grown at Grapelawn, our family’s vineyard home.
