🍎 HELP WANTED – Seasonal Orchard Position 🍎

Seamans Orchard is looking for a dependable individual to help inspect apples for bruising and other damage during our fall harvest season. Starting the second week in August until the end of October. Monday to Friday 6:30am to 5pm. $16 per hour. May have to occasionally work on Sat 630am to 3pm.

Job Duties:
🍏 Walk through the orchard inspecting apples.
🍏 Identify bruised or damaged fruit.
🍏 Help ensure only the highest quality apples are harvested.

This job is for someone who:
☀️ Enjoys working outside.
🌡️ Is comfortable working in the heat.
🚶 Can walk and stand for extended periods.
✔️ Is dependable and pays close attention to detail.

Vacation always starts with a farm market stop. 🍑🌽

On our way to Ocracoke Island, we made our annual stop at Morris Farm Market. We came for a quick stop...and somehow left with a shopping cart full of fresh produce, baked treats, and goodies.

Thank You for a Wonderful Season!

Saturday, June 27th, will be the last day that Seamans Orchard is open for the season. Blueberries are still available to pick, and we have a few prepicked.

We want to thank all of our customers for your support and for making this season so special!

Don't worry—we'll be back before you know it. We look forward to seeing you this fall for Pick-Your-Own Apples, September 19th, 9am to 4pm! 🍎🍏

🍓🫐 Important Update from Seamans' Orchard 🍓🫐

We wanted to let everyone know that we are officially sold out of our strawberry treats for the season, meaning we are no longer able to serve our Strawberry Ice Cream or Strawberry Slushies. We have used all the fresh strawberry juice—the key ingredient in both of these customer favorites—and are so grateful for the incredible support that helped us sell out!

While our strawberry treats have come to an end, we are excited to announce that our delicious Vanilla Ice Cream is back and available for you to enjoy during your next visit to the orchard.

We truly appreciate your understanding and continued support of Seamans' Orchard. We look forward to seeing you during blueberry season!

🌞 It's going to be a hot one!

If you're heading to pick blueberries over the next several days, be sure to wear cool clothes, bring plenty of water, and take breaks as needed.

The blueberries are worth it, but the heat is no joke! 🫐💙
