Because of covid all cookies will be prepackaged in assorted variety or in smaller single variety boxes. we will also be taking orders for the coming holiday bazaar if you wish to customize an assortment

Oshkosh Farmers Markets freedom farm will be at the convention center for the coming farmers market this Saturday. Offering our handcrafted soaps, honey, and old world bakery items. Just picked up some supplies. We love our wisconsin organic flour milled and grown along the mississippi combined with other organics it doesnt get any better!

Oshkosh Farmers Markets it might be cold outside but we are in our toasty kitchen baking up a storm. Turtle bars, scones, triple chocolate brownies and whoopie pies just to mention a few. Come and sample our cheesy sourdough bread. It's great for grilled sandwiches

short story of a long journey

My interest in farming started intensely about 20 years ago, although my experience farming started more then 50 years ago. I grew up on a dairy farm in Pickett WI. and like most farm kids left the farm for what I thought was greener pastures. I continued to garden but never in a large scale. As a single parent I had always strived to put the best food on my table but the expense of buying organic groceries was overwhelming, and I had to admit I really missed the farm and being close to the land. It was then that my parents offered to let me use some of their old pasture for a larger garden. And with the help and urging of my boyfriend to share the fruits of our labor at an affordable price Freedom Farm was born.

After years of trying many different varieties of vegetables we feel confident that the heirloom seeds we plant every year will bring the best taste and nutrition to you and your families. They aren't always the most perfect looking specimens but their taste makes them beautiful. Our veggies are not grown to sit in a cooler or on a shelf for weeks so freshness is a guarantee. We grow using no chemicals and only natural fertilizers.

The soaps we make have goats milk and honey in every bar. They are colored with natural minerals. Goats milk has the same Ph as skin so is very soothing and honey has many healing properties. Some are scented with essential oils, some with fragrance oils and some with are a combination of both. We find they are moisturizing smooth and creamy.

The first bees we had were to enhance the production of the garden. What a surprise they were. I spent 2 years reading and researching beekeeping before taking the plunge. We started with 2 hives and fell in love that first year. Yes I still scream at the sight of spiders but the sound of busy bees buzzing in the garden makes my heart sing. They are the most precious gift ever created. They pollinate our food, create more food[honey], and even their sting is beneficial to certain individuals suffering health problems. Honey has helped people with allergies and been proven to help burn victims. There is no other substance either man made or in nature that has as many healing and health benefits as honey AMAZING. Our honey is raw and coarsely filtered to get the big chunks of wax and bees out. All the good stuff is left in there. As with all our products we bring to you only what we ourselves would want . Good, pure and healthy choices for you and your loved ones.
