Burwinkel Farms

Burwinkel Farms Burwinkel Farms is a small, family-owned farm in Southwest Ohio We are a small family farm located in Southwestern Ohio specialized in growing sweet corn.
(1048)

The farm has been in the family for over 3 generations dating back to 1918. We are a complete family operation with the boys doing most of the farming, the girls running the retail sales, and Mom and Dad keeping everything in order. We strive to provide the highest quality produce to our customers at the lowest price possible. We do our best but Mother Nature does not always cooperate making it di

fficult at times as a small family farm. We work hard throughout the year to be the best farmers around for the best customers around. Thank you for your support. If you have any comments, questions, or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact us.

⭐ OPENING DAY IS ONE WEEK AWAY! ⭐

We are excited to announce that our ROSS LOCATION opening day is just one week away (Friday, May 22nd)! Join us in welcoming the start of the 2026 produce season and another summer filled with fresh fruits, veggies, and friendly faces.

We plan to have as much southern produce as we can find, including Tennessee tomatoes, seedless watermelon, and other fresh fruits and vegetables. We’re also hoping to have some locally grown favorites available too — strawberries, asparagus, and more depending on availability! Our selection will continue to grow and change throughout the season, so every visit may bring something new. We will continue to post updates as our inventory changes!

Have dinner plans for the weekend? Stop by and pick up some fresh goodies to make your meals even better! Whether you’re grilling out, making a summer salad, or just craving fresh produce, we can’t wait to kick off the season with you.

For now, we plan to be open daily from 9am–6pm at our Ross location (Memorial Day 9am-4pm). Our satellite stands will begin opening in the coming weeks as more produce becomes available, so be sure to watch for updates! šŸ’š

We can’t wait to see everyone again soon! Be sure to swing in and say hi!

We love sharing our passion for agriculture and teaching the next generation just how important food production is! 🚜

This week, we had the opportunity to visit Morgan Elementary for their Career Cafe alongside many other local businesses and community representatives. We enjoyed spending time with the Pre-K through 3rd grade students, sharing what life on the farm looks like and talking about the hard work that goes into growing food for our communities.

A big thank you to Morgan Elementary for inviting us to be part of such a fun and meaningful event! We loved getting to connect with the students and answer all of their great questions. šŸ’š

And a HUGE thank you to Holmes Seed Company for helping us send each student home with seeds of their own so they can become little farmers themselves! 🌽🌻 Now they can plant, grow, and watch the magic happen right at home.

🌻 It’s only a matter of time… 🌻
If you haven’t watched 'Matter of Time' on Netflix yet, please do (https://www.matteroftimefilm.com/).

This powerful 2025 documentary (released February 9, 2026) highlights the urgent fight to cure Epidermolysis Bullosa (EB), a rare genetic skin disease. Featuring Eddie Vedder’s 2023 Seattle solo performances alongside the real stories of EB patients and researchers, it brings awareness—and hope—to a cause that is incredibly close to our hearts. After all, it’s what our Sips in Sunflowers weekend is all about: supporting and fundraising for the fight against EB. šŸ’›

✨ This past Sips in Sunflowers Weekend in September, we raised an incredible $13,771.54, and over the past 8 years, we’ve raised a total of $73,590 for the local EB Hope Foundation.
And truly… we could not continue hosting this amazing event without the most incredible partners. We have so many people and businesses to thank, but a few consistently go above and beyond in ways we can’t even put into words.

If you’re able, help us thank them by visiting and supporting their businesses:
🌟 Tēla Bar + Kitchen
Recently voted City Beats #1 Hidden Gem (North) and #1 Gastropub—and they truly are! The food is nothing short of amazing, and the people behind it are even better. Chef Christian and the owners were thrilled to support the cause, and we are so grateful. If you haven’t been, go—the cozy atmosphere is perfect for date nights or celebrations! They also offer catering! Please check them out! Take a moment to visit their page and send them some love.

šŸ» HighGrain Brewing Co
They’ve supported this cause for YEARS, always showing up like it’s their own. We are beyond grateful. Stop in and visit one of their two great locations near Kenwood Mall or at the former Brentwood Bowl site—and let them know you’re supporting them because of their commitment to this cause!

šŸŽ¶ Mad River Band
Incredible people with incredible talent. They’ve been part of Sips in Sunflowers since the very beginning (8 years!)—no matter what, they show up. We truly couldn’t do it without them!

šŸ© Starlight Doughnut Lab
They’ve been donating desserts for this event for years now, and these aren’t just donuts—they’re edible works of art with flavor combinations you wouldn’t believe. You have to try them for yourself!

šŸ’› We are so thankful for this community, these partnerships, and the opportunity to make a difference together.

Watch for 2026 event updates so you can join us this fall—you won’t want to miss this one-of-a-kind event. 🌻

It is with the heaviest of hearts that we share the loss of our beloved family member, Ryan, a third-generation member of our Burwinkel Farms family. Ryan grew up on this farm, loved this farm, and was such a special part of our family’s story. His absence is felt in every corner of our hearts.

We are leaning on one another as we navigate this heartbreaking time and will be taking the next few days to be with family, support each other, and honor his memory.

Thank you for your compassion, patience, and understanding as we walk through this unimaginable loss. Our community has always been such a blessing to us, and your support means more than we can ever express.
