Fueled up, filled up, ready to roll. This morning we thought it was going to be a no go for planting but this afternoon the sun came out and I was able to get about 45 acres in the ground!

Spring work is officially underway for GKB Farms. Hopefully the weather cooperates and we will be planting wheat tomorrow.

New midland radios shower up today. Got them installed in the trucks and did some range testing. I think these will work good for us. Now if only I had a few more.

Ps. If anyone could help me out with getting them on a repeater I would be very thankful.

Got the corn head all ready for next year, deck plates and chains are all adjusted. Ran into a little trouble with 3 of the deck plates, the nut welded inside the tube for the adjusters broke off. Had to cut a hole and weld in new nuts and weld it shut. All in all it was a pretty easy fix just a little time consuming.

Time do to a little adjusting. Swapping the drive sprockets so the larger one is driving the smaller sprocket to speed up the corn head so I can slow down the feeder house speed.
