Florida 2026 is a wrap for Hunter Way Farm!
Our Winter show season started out with 3 weeks in December at HITS Ocala.
🏎️Some riders from our UAlbany Equestrian team; Ashley Myer, Sophia Meyer and Sutton Barrett riding the barn favorite Cartel, to Champion and Reserve Champion ribbons in the hunter and equitation ring and rounding out the end of their show weeks in the jumper ring with some fast clean rounds.
☀️Brianna Andrews and Kingstown stepped back into the 1M jumpers with success.
💙Caitilin Saddlemire and her new mount Anonyme TMZ S spent time getting to know each other, competing in the Equitation ring and put down some solid rounds.
The team then moved on to the World Equestrian Center for the remainder of our Florida circuit.
🌟Hannasy Rodgers piloted Mahogany in the Low Adult Hunters to a 4th and 8th place ribbon out of a field of 22 and then rounded out their week with a 3rd place ribbon in the Low Adult Classic.
☀️Brianna Andrews and Kingstown continued their success in the 1M jumpers with clean fast rounds.
🏰Samantha Evans and her mount Kasteel moved up to the 2’6 ring competing in the Low Adult Hunters, laying down great rides and securing a 5th and 7th place ribbon out of a field of 19.
💙Caitilin Saddlemire and Anonyme TMZ S stepped up to the 3’3 ring in the USHJA Hunt Seat Medal scoring a 86 in their first round out of a field of 14 and sitting on top going into the test and with a little bobble at the trot jump secured a 3rd place ribbon. This pair then moved upward to the 3’6 ring rounding out their circuit with a stellar round in the ASPCA Maclay out of a field of 20 getting a call back for the flat phase.
🦈Caitlin Saddlemire and Ramisco stepped back into the show ring after some time off competing in the USHJA Hunters, placing 2nd and 5th in a field of 25 and rounded out their week with a 2nd and 4th place ribbon in the Low Child Equitation out of a field of 19.
So proud of the Hunter Way Team and their accomplishments and we are looking forward to the remainder of our 2026 Show Season with some new rider/horse additions that will be joining our team as well as Florida Circuit 2027! Stay tuned for future posts on our team’s success!
Hunter Way Farm is a competitive Hunter/Jumper/Equitation facility offering lessons for all levels of riders, as well as lease and show options and we are the home base for the UAlbany Equestrian Team. We are always welcoming new members to our family!
