Sweet Daisy spent a long day at the NC State farm animal hospital.

She has not been feeling herself lately, and she suddenly stopped eating and migrating with the herd to graze. So far, the vets discovered that her gallbladder is enlarged, which matches the bloodwork showing very elevated liver/gallbladder values. Possible causes include liver flukes, gallbladder stones, an infection, or something else entirely. Right now we have more questions than answers.

The plan is to keep her on steroids, antibiotics, and supportive care for the next few days and see how she responds.
