Feb. 28th-Mar. 2nd we are back at it for the Sims Strong cook-off out in liberty hill.! Y’all go ahead and mark it down on your calendars and come out and support us.! We will have bbq left over from our competition meats on Saturday. Come out and have a cold drink and support a local team.!

We had a great time all the way up in Paris Texas doing the annual BBQ Blowout they host in the first weekend of December.! We our proud to announce that at this last one we took 10th place out of 40 entries in smoked Turkey.!

Alright everyone we are gearing up for another BBQ cook off.! August 16th-17th we will be a little more local by getting the chance to compete in the Taylor BBQ Cook-Off.! We will be competing in all categories for the first time in Steel Tippin history.! If you’re in the area and want some good food, cold beer, and solid music then Taylor Cook-off is where you need to be.!

This past weekend we got the chance to compete at the McDade Watermelon Festival Cook-off. Even with the rain we were able to have a good time and get to do something we love.! We would like to thank McDade Watermelon Festival for having us and giving us the opportunity to compete.! Also we had a surprise guest Rub Me Tender BBQ helping out by cooking an amazing cook’s choice. We have improved in some areas, but for being our 2nd cook-off it was a win for Steel Tippin BBQ. Thank you to all that came out and supported us.! Hope to see y’all at many more.!
