Fresh Chicken & Duck eggs from our backyard flock. Mostly all of our ducks have been breed and hatched right here at Wren's Hens.

Wren's Hens started 9 years ago from our small flock of 6 Chickens and has grown to over 100 Chickens & Ducks.

It's been awhile with the slow egg production, but we actually have a few cartons of eggs in the stand today! Still $5/dozen chicken, $4/half dozen duck. I'm predicting they'll go fast!

Meet Elmo. He's our loan Rooster. 🐓

He's the biggest chicken of them all (literally and figuratively)

He's afraid of people so I'm not sure he'd do a very good job protecting the flock from predators.

One of many reasons we don't free range (we've lost birds to hawks in the past).

It's a good thing they live in Coop Knox. In 9 years we've only had one break-in, and it was a weasel.

Let's just say he wasn't able to weasel his way out of it, if you know what I mean.
