Fun fact. Poor man’s burnt ends are made out of chuck roast. However. Chuck roast is almost double the price of brisket. It’s just a smaller cut of meat. As to where a brisket will run $70+ for a small 12lb. Chuck roast may only run you $30 but it’s a 3lb roast. You can find a good brisket for $5.99lb. A chuck roast will run you $10lbs.
