Nye Hill Farm Established in 1790. Certified organic in 2014. Named a New Hampshire Farm of Distinction in 2022. We brew and we work the land all year. It is all who we are.

Our barn-based brewery overlooks orchards, pastures, and fields of apple, peach and pear trees, grape and hop vines, blueberry bushes, and bee hives. We hand-press our fruit every Fall and a wood-fired evaporator warms our sugar house every Spring. We share the farm with horses, pigs, sheep and goats, oxen and a steer, for whom we care with love and tenderness.

“Why be alone when we can be together baby
You can make my life worthwhile
And I can make you start to smile”
― Mr. Big

Consider joining us on November 7 for something worthwhile.

“The mark of the immature man is that he wants to die nobly for a cause, while the mark of the mature man is that he wants to live humbly for one.”
― J.D. Salinger, The Catcher in the Rye

On November 7th, the farm is opening its (old barn) doors to the public, in celebration of its (new barn) doors. The brewers will be pouring their “Old Gent”, a lightly hopped pale ale and the orchardists (okay, same people) will be offering their soft apple c***r. From the farmers, apiarists, sugarers and shepherds (okay, again, same people), blueberry jam, honey, maple syrup, maple candy and skeins of yarn. There’ll be a raffle to win a basketful of everything and then some (farm and brewery swag, a hand-crafted gourd birdhouse and more, it’s a big basket). All farm and brewery proceeds, all, going to Monadnock Humane Society. The potters will also be opening their studio for the day, offering the kind of craftsmanship that gets handed from one generation to the next. We hope you can join us in celebration of noble causes. November 7, 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.

“In the face of a forest fire, all the animals stood and watched helplessly. Only the small hummingbird took action, taking a few drops of water in his beak, flying over and dropping them onto the flames repeatedly. When they asked what he hoped to accomplish, with such a small gesture, the hummingbird replied, ‘I am doing my share.’”

"There was an old woman who lived in a shoe.
She had so many children, she didn't know what to do.
She gave them some broth without any bread;
And whipped them all soundly and put them to bed.”
