Drift Farmstead is a small diversified family farm that takes an organic and whole farm approach in raising high quality vegetables and animals for year round production and root storage. Our social mission is to provide local food to our community members, educate children and families about food, farm and nutrition through various on farm experiences.At The Vermont Farm and Forest School we valu

🌾 WE’RE HIRING: FARM ALL-STAR 🌾

Drift Farmstead (home of The Vermont Farm & Forest School) is looking for a Land Steward—a Jack/Jill-of-all-trades who loves dirt, animals, veggies, and getting things DONE.

✨ You’ll help with:
🐐 Animal care
🥕 Garden work
🔥 Firewood & woodland tasks
🍕 Food prep (yes, pizza!)
🎉 Farm events & farm stays

🌟 You’re a great fit if you:
✔️ Love hard work & variety
✔️ Can hustle outdoors in all weather
✔️ Have a sense of humor & care for the land

📅 Season runs mid-April to early November
💰 $15–18/hr
⏰ 20–40 hrs/week
🥬 $250/month in farm-fresh meat, veggies & pizza

Welcome to the farm! Home of Vermont Farm and Forest School! As part of our USDA Farm to School Grant we are partnering Vermont public schools with local farms for students 3rd-5th grade to learn about Climate Resilience & Food Systems! We are digging deep into soil!
