After a long winter the passion fruit has finally started to flower. I really don't know how this will pan out as I have few flowers. I'm grateful for what I have as it takes 80-90 days for fruit to ripen once flowers are pollinated. It does not like cool weather. The leaves and flowers have medicinal uses so I still come out ahead while having fun trying to grow something different.

I love my mobile duck coop. To do over again I'd order one with a door to allow the ducks the option to go in or out. With this model I need to put the ducks in myself and then round them up in a kennel at night to put back in their main coop.

I suppose the design is assuming this is the main coop to be moved around. I'm just not sure about overnight safety with a tarped top and our current wildlife. Regardless it's a nice way to protect the ducks from predators while still getting to move around the yard.

Drying 20 elderflower heads to do a little testing with. Always something to learn, this year I have enough plants to do some testing with.

As I continue to expand my elderberry bushes I have more room to test new ways to process them. Today I am drying some elderflower to see what I can do with these beautiful flowers.

We've got a variety of fresh picked herbs today and garlic scapes at the farmstand. I can always pick more should you not see what you're looking for.
