MSF is at the Barre Farmers Market today. We have eggs, chicken, dill pickles, bread and butter pickles, dilly beans, old fashioned and dill pickled eggs, tallow based soap, body cream and lip balm.

Come down and see MSF and all the other vendors here at Currier Park in Barre City VT from 3:30-7. Food Vendors start at 4 and music at 5:30.

Hey Everyone! Mountain Shadow Farm is open! We have frozen chicken which was fed organic grain and pasture raised. MSF has chicken eggs for $5 per dozen, the hens are also fed organic feed. MSF also has eggs for sale at O'MADDIS in Northfield. MSF also has HATCHING EGGS for $5 per dozen.

Our other non chicken products are dill pickles, bread and butter pickles, dilly beans, traditional pickled eggs, dill pickled eggs, tallow Soap of various scents, lip balm and body cream.

Lastly, you can find MSF at the Barre Farmers Market on April 8th and 22nd at the Barre Social Club, as well as every Wednesday starting in June and throughout the Summer at Currier Park from 3:30 to 7.

Mountain Shadow Farm will be at the Barre Farmers Market today, Wednesday March 11 from 3:30-6:30. The Barre Farmers Market is located at the Barre Social Club at 105 North Main St in Barre City VT. MSF will have organically fed and pasture raised chicken. Whole $5 per pound, Breast $10 per pound, Leg Quarters $8 per pound and Wings $5 per pound. Eggs $5 per dozen. Dilly Beans, Dill Pickles and Bread&Butter Pickles $8 per pint. Pickled Eggs $10 per quart. Sourdough Bread $10 per loaf. Tallow Body Cream $10-1oz, $20-4oz. Tallow Lip Balm $3. Tallow Soap $5.

HATCHING EGGS!!!

MSF is now selling hatching eggs! $5 per dozen. No different then our regular egg sales price. Have fun raising your own chicks with an incubator and eventually your own eggs.

We have two black copper maran roosters and one barred rock rooster. We have mostly rhode island red and barred rock hens, but we also have a buff orpington, austrolorp, and two americaunas. We get mostly light to medium brown eggs, but we do get a blue egg and an olive egg from the americaunas. The chicks should be barred rock, black s*x link and then mixed breeds with good potential of getting some colored egg layers.

***FYI Hatching eggs do not get washed so they will not be perfectly clean. They must not be washed so they can keep their natural protective coating(bloom) or they will not incubate.***
