We finished up a busy week at the Grant County Fair next week, all five kids went back to school and we are all getting caught up at the nursery!

I have so many exciting things to announce coming up. Fall here on the farm is going to be so excited with a combination of dahlias and the nursery!

We have so many exciting plants coming in that look absolutely amazing. I’ve been having a hard time not planting them all for myself 🤪💃.

This year is flying by and it’s been so busy I’ve hardly had a minute to share… the dahlias ❤️

They are still here, the field is opening this fall, and I’m holding on for dear life trying to balance it all… because I mean what else am I gonna do.

This view has sustained me and gave me hope over so many seasons and just like every other year when I can feel summer slipping away the dahlias just come alive and it is the best thing ever.

August is here! Some of my favorite things in the nursery right now. I’m starting to plan a few things I’d like to plant in my yard this year and the hydrangeas and hibiscus are too good to pass up! Which one do you love more?!

You will never be ready.

And honestly? Life is way too short to wait around until you are. Every time I’ve done something worth doing, I feel like the timing couldn’t be worse.

But once you start, you just don’t stop and you will soon find out that it’s easier to figure it out as you go rather than having everything all planned out before you start!
