In an effort to combat the persistent litter issue along Arkansas Highways, the Arkansas Department of Transportation (ARDOT), the Arkansas Highway Police (AHP), and the Keep Arkansas Beautiful (KAB) Office are launching an awareness and enforcement campaign focusing on compliance with Arkansas laws governing the secure transport of waste materials in vehicles beginning in July.

Update: Hedging the bushes early has given these blueberry bushes a head start on new growth for their final trim in September and October. A 2” water line with overhead sprinklers and 5000 gallons of water will provide more protection this next spring when the late frost hits. 🤞🤞

Since I lost all but a handful of blueberries this harvest, trimming the bushes back to allow the roots to grow has proven to be correct. This is what you should see from 2027’s harvest!

We have no blueberries this year but progress has been taking place. A few more projects to finish and looking forward to the fall.

REMINDER

This year’s 2026 harvest was a complete loss due to inclement weather conditions. The farm will not be open to the public this season for that reason. We will reopen to the public in harvest season of 2027. You will be missed but we look forward to seeing everyone in 2027!

This is today. The aftermath. The entire farm suffered a complete loss of blueberries. Unfortunately, we will not be open for You-Pick this year. We will continue to update everyone throughout the year on any progress we make with large projects. See y’all next year!
