It's been a busy weekend. Working on the tractor, picking the garden, picked a couple batches of pumpkins too. And we decided to can a few more batches of tomatoes.

It's not uncommon for us to get a bushel or two of produce at a time. We picked half a bushel of Ajvarski peppers this week. Several of them were used fresh for cooking, some were sold, and some were given to family. And I still had enough to chop 28 cups worth for the freezer. This makes meal prep and canning a whole lot easier because they are already prepared. 🫑

We have 5lb of jalapenos available as well as 22 lbs of canning Roma/super sauce tomatos available.

It has been a long day. But we got 23 quarts and one pint of our tomato base done. That makes 52 quarts of tomatoes in the last week.
