Picked 10 # of cucumbers this morning. Kids ate several before I got a picture. Thinking about making a batch of Thunder and Lightning. What is your go-to cucumber recipe when you don't have enough to pickle? 🥒

You know, you can't always time the harvest. The plants let you know when they are ready. After work I checked on the beans and saw they were ready to pick again. Sold about ½ and just finished canning the rest. I'm ready for bed 🥱.

And so it begins! Picked a bushel of green beans yesterday. That means it's time to do some canning. 20 quarts isn't bad for the first picking of the year.

Well, I enlisted the help of my brothers this morning after breakfast to help me pick green beans. Not bad for the 1st picking, little more than a 5 gallon bucket full.

With our exploding bunny population in the barn, I needed to make some room for more grow outs. Butchered 7 today, planning on making sausage with them again.

Wow, we've had a bunny boom on the farm this morning. Got up for work and was surprised to see 3 first time moms and one of our other breeders had kindled 26 kits this morning. Lots of new blood lines this time too.

Before and after photos of our unruly tomatoes that needed some pruning. 140+ tomatoes got trimmed today. Wife says they look naked now. Told her thats the point, if they feel a breeze then I did it right. Pruning helps keep the tomatoes healthy and disease free.
