Stonyrun Farms Stonyrun Farms is a local source
for restaurants, grocers, and consumers
for quality Wagyu beef. Our beef is custom processed – never mass produced.

Stonyrun Farms strives to produce some of the finest beef in the world. Wagyu doesn’t just taste better than other beef, it’s also healthier. That’s because Wagyu beef contains less saturated fat, and higher concentrations of Omega 3 and Omega 6 fatty acids. These Omegas are essential for the normal functioning and development of the body’s organs and systems. At Stonyrun Farms, we nurture our Wagyu herd in an exceptional environment. They are free to roam on pasture or in open pens, and are never restrained. Our feed is locally purchased forage and grain, and our cattle are never given hormones, growth stimulants, animal by-products or antibiotics. Skilled veterinary care is employed to monitor our cattle and maintain the heath of the herd. And, to help insure that our high quality standards are maintained through to the consumer, we work with family-owned USDA-certified processing facilities.

Just when we didn’t think it could get any better — The Kitchen Klutz - Maggie Salewski brought us hot dog buns! 🌭 These hit the spot when paired with a Wagyu hot dog. We are open till 6pm this evening.

Don’t forget — you can sign up for a bread share in the shop. The Kitchen Klutz - Maggie Salewski will drop off every Thursday. Ask us for more details at the shop!

THANK YOU!! What an incredible day celebrating the Grand Opening of Stonyrun Farms Community Butcher Shop! 🎉

We want to extend a huge thank you to everyone who stopped by yesterday to shop, enjoy some Wagyu beef samples, meet the crew, and show your support!

Whether you’ve been supporting us from the beginning or just discovered us yesterday, we’re so grateful for the warm welcome and excitement from the community.

A lot of hard work has gone into bringing this shop to life, and seeing so many people walk through our doors yesterday made it all worthwhile.

We’re excited to continue growing, serving our community, and bringing you quality Wagyu beef and products from other local small businesses.

We’re so excited to welcome you into the shop today!

Our doors are open until 5pm, and we’ve got Wagyu brisket samples ready for you to try, fully stocked meat cases, and plenty of goodies from local small businesses! From milk and pasta to tallow skincare and now leather goods, there’s a little something for everyone!

What does it mean to be a community butcher shop?

To us, it means bringing things a little closer to home. It means knowing the people behind the counter. Knowing more about where your food comes from. Supporting the farmers producing food right here in our area.

And having a butcher you can actually talk to — whether you need a specific cut, aren’t sure what to make for dinner, or just want some advice on how to cook it.

That’s what we’re building at Stonyrun Farms Community Butcher Shop.

The faces of Stonyrun Farms Community Butcher!

1️⃣ Meet Mitchell Ruth, Owner. You’ll see him from time to time at the shop, and behind the table at Phoenixville Farmers' Market and Berwyn Farmers Market .

2️⃣ Meet Loren Ruth, Owner. He’s your go-to if you want to talk cattle and learn about the Wagyu breed.

3️⃣ Meet John Belkot, Head of Fabrication and Production, as well as Manager of the Butcher Shop. He’ll be the face you see behind the counter and your go-to for all things beef!

Our team is excited to welcome you to your community butcher shop here in Royersford. Come meet us and say, “hi” 👋🏼 at our Grand Opening on Saturday, October 17, from 10 AM-5 PM. We’ll be cooking Wagyu beef samples throughout the day.

If you haven’t visited Stonyrun Farms Community Butcher in Royersford, now is the perfect time. You are formally invited to join us for the grand opening of Stonyrun Farms Community Butcher Shop on Saturday, October 17th from 10am-5pm!

We will be open extended hours and will be cooking samples of Wagyu beef all day long. The Ruth family will be present and are excited to welcome everyone to YOUR community butcher shop.
