1-1's mother the 6-1 Special Effect Sow had a very successful show carrier for the Owenby family the summer of 2024 and ended the summer winning a class at the State Fair of Texas.

Last year the 6-1 Special Effect Sow raised the Champion Berk Jack County, 6th Place Berk Barrow Houston, and a 9th Place Berk Barrow Austin.

I-1 has been a farm favorite and one I have a ton of confidence in. He has a massive foot with a huge leg to match it. Supper STOUT!!!

The 1 litter pigs are sired by Upward at Sixty-Six Ventures. Then out of 6-1 Special Effect x 8-9 Pound Town "Skeletor" x 11-7 Monster. 6-1 had a very successful show carrier the summer of 2024 for the Owenby family and ended the summer winning a class at State Fair of Texas.

6-1 mother is the 8-9 Pound Town sow known as Skeletor. She was Champion Berk Gilt State Fair of Texas 2023 shown by Lexi York. Skeletor has been a huge part of our sow heard by being the mother or grandmother of 90% of our sow heard. This sow has been responsible for the biggest part of our berkshire success.

6-1 grandmother is the 11-7 Monster sow that was 3rd Overall Berk Gilt San Antonio 2022 shown by Lexi York.

6-1 was bred to OG last year for a crossbred litter. That litter was small but produced the Champion Berk Jack County, 9th Place Barrow Houston, and 4th Place Barrow Austin. This is a litter we have alot of confidence in!!!

We have a couple February berk gilts for lease. They are out of In The Woods at Crossroads and the 8-9 Pound Town "Skeletor" sow. If you follow our program you know that Skeletor is the foundation of our berkshire herd. She is responsible for a huge part of our success in the show ring. Don't miss out on a opportunity to show a daughter of Skeletor!
I could only get one gilt to cooperate for a picture this morning but a pair of nice berk gilts.
