With spring on the way, our thoughts turn to the work ahead for spring calving. Fences to be checked and fixed. High and dry areas set up for calving, and to give the babies the most comfortable places to be for their first weeks of life.
It won't be long now until we'll have cows calling for their calves.
Maybe they wont' hide away like this little guy.

Hogs, For the first years of our farm hogs were our specialty. We still raise some of the best quality hogs available. Raised on dirt, with sun on their backs (and some lovely, smelly mudholes) our hogs are happy and healthy. With proper diets (no trash for these guys) we produce the best pork you'll ever have!

Our layers are never treated with antibiotics. Just feed, clean water and diatomaceous earth for dust baths!
