Shoe giveaway was a success! I didn't get pics of everyone but there were lots of happy faces! We wish we could have had enough for every single person that came by. Most were very appreciative.

We also had our first pup cup recipent. Looks like he enjoyed it!

We thank everyone who entered our weekly knife giveaways or who purchased knives or tipped on whatnot. We took zero profit from our last month knife sales and purchased over $3,000 in sneakers for this event. Unfortunately it didn't seem to go very far as there are so many in need. I believe we have about 4 pairs of size 10 mens left so if anyone has teenage boys that need a pair let me know.

We also thank all our customers for being patient with us yesterday. One of the photos shows the line we had at one point. Our customers were patient during that time, waiting to be checked out so we could grab more shoes for those in line.

We decided we will probably do this again before winter for snow boots! So there is no confusion, I will say now that the child will have to be present. Just like when the churches give away school supplies and such, they require your child to be there. To get upset at this because someone is trying to do something positive for the children in our area is crazy. For a minute we let it get to us, maybe we shouldn't bother trying to get involved and do something positive but at the end of the day We had another vendor come up telling us that they had a child say they finally got their first pair of Nike's. Another child immediately started tskjny his shoes off, Garrett said oh no he doesnt have to put them on now and the parent said oh yes, he is uncomfortable, his shoes are too small. His sad face quickly changed to smiles when he put on his new shoes. Things like this make it all worth it.

We are all set for tomorrow.

Some of our things from our garden are finally coming in plus stocked on all the other purchases produce.

Sadie will have her new free pup cups.

My eczema tallow and bug spray are back in stock. Also new is our citronella candles!

After 2 months without a fridge we finally got a new one and we have regular sourdough loaves again!

We have about 100 pairs of sneakers to give away for school year. We tried to get a mix of small sizes and big high schoolers size.

I believe that's all the updates!

This Saturday is the day! Help us spread the word to any families in need in our community! Please bring your child and just give us their size and we will grab them a pair of sneakers. We will pass out shoes till we run out!

If we have extras we absolutely will share with those not in need but we would love to make sure first we get all those families struggling right now.

Thank you to all our followers who habe supported us and purchased raffle tickets. We've purchased over $3,000 in sneakers for this event and over $500 of that came from raffle ticket sales. We have put quite a bit of our own profit into this project and nothing makes us happier than to see these excited kids this weekend.
