•had the best time at the Market on Main Twin Falls
•my sweetie gifted me an incubator!🐣 I extra love it cause it’s yellow💛
•dealt with a late season frost, although the garden took a good hit, we replanted and look forward to late harvests🫶🏼
•brought home two jersey calves. believe it or not, not my idea😅
•sold allll my garden plants direct without even advertising, huge thanks to all my loyal customers 🌱

✨Employee of the Month✨

Meet Richard! Our Legbar mix rooster. He is truly the kind of rooster every homestead wants. Not a mean bone in his body (towards people anyways) and is a fierce protector of his ladies and babies.
I have witnessed, on two separate occasions, Richard actively fighting off owls. This last fight, he was locked claws on the ground with a large owl. Richard won of course and proudly wears a few scars. And for that, he definitely deserves employee of the month. He’s truly an essential part of our little farm!💛

•finally welcomed Darlas babies to the herd.. most anticipated arrival ever!🐐
•added a lil whimsy to the garden!💡✨
•had a blast at my first event of the season! (even though my tent almost blew away🥲)
•learned how to run a lil excavator 💪🏼
•planted a ton of native wildflowers for the pollinators 🦋
•my grandma continues to visit me in the form of lady bugs🥹🫶🏼🐞
•Donna hatched out some chicks and we added a few extra babies too🐣

May was so beautifully busy! I remind myself every day that this is the life I’ve dreamed and worked so hard for. Even though times may be tough, early days and late nights.. it’s always so worth it. 💛✨

Darla finally blessed us with 3 beautiful babies! Two cute boys and a precious little girl. 💙🩵🩷
I really lucked out in the momma goat department because both Penny & Darla are incredible mommas. Darla is nursing all 3 of these babies and they are thriving! I’m prepared to bottle feed one if needed, but so far they’re all doing great!

•the birthing center was busy with goats, ducklings, and even surprise guests!🐑
•added a few little guineas to the farm! I’ve been dreaming about these babies for so long!
•trimmed trees = happy goats!
•been whipping up some fun new recipes, can’t wait to share💋

As usual, this month flew by.😅 With every beautiful sunshiny day, I can feel myself coming back into my own.✨ I have so many exciting things I’m working on and am so exited to see what the next few months bring 💛

The wait is over!.. kinda🤪
I’m so in love with these two cute boys our Penny girl blessed us with. But really did not expect Penny to be the first to kid! Darla is somehow getting larger every day😅
Also.. any name suggestions for these two boys? Drop your best boy name ideas ⬇️🩵💙
