Have you ever stopped to think about the impact that you can have by simply supporting your local farmers market? Every single item sold at our market is either made, raised, or grown locally. Think about that... People in your community create and nurture goods from their own hands and land to support their families. Each time you buy at a market, you are supporting a local family. Come see us this Saturday, March 27th, from 10 - 12 and support a local farmer or artisan.

Hi everyone! As you may be aware, finding canning jars/lids/rings is super difficult right now. If you have any sitting around your home collecting dust - I’d love to take them off your hands. Just message me!
Here's a reminder that tomorrow from 3pm-5pm (possibly later depending on if we have enough vouchers to distribute that day, and time constraints) we will be at the Abingdon Farmer's Market distributing $10 for free to the first 20 children between the ages of 2-18 to buy fresh fruits and veggies from our local farmers.
This program is called the Healthy Kids Bucks Program and it has been funded through United Healthcare. This program empowers children to make their own decisions on what fruits and vegetables they may want to consume, which may spark their interest to eat more healthy locally grown foods. We will be here every Tuesday evening in August until we reach our daily limit. Spread the word!
Really, this.
Oh man what a day...
Seems like the most eventful days on the farm are days we forget to capture on camera.
In addition to moving chickens, moving cows, and moving pigs, we had our first on-farm pick up for beef and pork herd shares.
For those of you unfamiliar with our farm location, we live 5 miles past the middle of nowhere. Our closest neighbor is about a mile away.
Coming out to our farm on a Saturday morning is not really convenient for anyone. But today over 50 folks came out to the farm to get their local meat.
It's hard to put into words how thankful we are. Not just to have so many families trusting us with producing their family's food, but to have so many families willing to go out of their way to get it.
We don't take the easy road when it comes to farming. We work hard. That's what it takes to produce food the right way.
We go out of our way to produce the best food we can.
We appreciate all those willing to go out of their way to get it.
Good evening farm fam! We are opening our enrollment for our fall salad membership! (Who else thinks salad at Thanksgiving sounds amazing?) Please remember that space is limited! Message us to reserve a spot now!
Hi everyone! We will not be at the Abingdon Farmers Market this Saturday, July 4. We look forward to seeing you on Tuesday, July 7th!

Berry Home Centers, Inc. got its roots in the 1930s from a family business founded by Chilhowie entrepreneur Fount W. Berry. F.W. Berry Produce Co. bought and sold produce, scrap metal, herbs and other goods from local farmers and traders. Today the store looks much different, but we still have the same community focus and we are proud to continue to support our local farmers.
The next curbside market with local farmers will be Saturday, April 25th, from 10am until noon at our Abingdon location.
