Life on a farm is not easy. Life in rescue is not easy especially when things don't go your way. Please pray for our rescue horse Max. It doesn't look good.

Ok folks the pictures arent pretty.
This guy is our first horse rescue. We have named him Max. He is around 20 years old. He came to us on 1/9/26. He was extremely underweight and in need of a hoof trim.
We purchased him a blanket to help shield him from the cold temperatures and give him some insulation. He is currently in quarantine from our other horses just to make sure he doesn't have anything that can be passed to them. The farrier came out on the 19th and gave him a trim. He said that other than being a little long his feet look good. He is a very in your pocket horse and loves attention. We are working on putting weight on him slowly. Too much too soon could be a bad thing. He does have 24-7 access to hay, water, and shelter. He also gets feed once a day for now. Our next step will be getting the vet out to see him.

We would like to welcome everyone to our new farm page. We are excited to begin this journey. We were blessed to find this property in 2024 and now we finally have our forever home in place here as well. A little back story, we have lived in a camper for the last 2 years in order to be able to work towards the house. We prayed deeply for this and the Lord named it for us. We have a love for all animals and along with our livestock we have dogs. Thank you for taking a look at our page. We rescue on a case by case basis since it just the 4 of us and we do have full time jobs. Feel free to reach out with any questions!
Psalm 50:9-11
9 I will take no bullock out of thy house, nor the goats out of thy folds.
10 For every beast of the forest is mine, and the cattle upon a thousand hills.
11 I know all the fowls of the mountains: and the wild beasts of the field are mine.
