NOTICE: FRIDAY, SEPT 19, 2025. Treasured Haven Farm Sunflower Days is NOW CLOSED for 2025!!
It is with a heavy heart that Treasured Haven Farm must close down the Sunflower Days for 2025. Due to heavy rain over the last couple days and more rains in the forecast for the entire weekend, both the fields and access to the parking area are too wet and muddy to continue for what was to be the final days. The blooming sunflowers also started hanging their heads faster than they should have because of the hotter temps and just too much rain. The Gift Shop is also Closed for the season and we will soon add a link for online ordering for some of the sunflower items still available. We apologize for any inconvenience and hope to see you in 2026.

It's a great day to visit Treasured Haven Farm's Sunflower Days to see the final field 8 blooming beautifully to end the 2025 season. The weather is starting with a light cloud layer that will help get great daytime portraits without the glaring sun.

The farm did have substantial rain on Friday evening, but the field has good footing after drying out quite a bit Saturday. You can walk all the fields and create sunflower art on the heads in the older fields. The creek overlooks are available, as well as woodland trails for other great nature pics

Gorgeous weekend ahead at Treasured Haven Farm's Sunflower Days. Final field 8 is blooming for 2025. The farm did have substantial rain on Friday evening, but the sun is out and the newly blooming sunflowers handled it well. The field has packed aisles and access, but will be a bit soft into the sunflowers so appropriate footwear should be worn. While the ground will dry out as the day progresses, spike heels or brand new white tennis shoes might be best to just put on for the pics and have other footwear to get to and from the field for today.

Friday, September 12, 2025:
Storms have just rolled thru the farm with wicked lightning and a downpour of rain. It is still raining as of 4:15pm. Treasured Haven Farm has closed for the evening for ponding water to have time to soak away so that the road and parking area do not get rutted up. The Sunflowers Gift Shop is Closed for the day as well. The farm will reopen at 10am on Saturday, September 13.

As always we follow safe event weather rules and Treasured Haven Farm will ALWAYS close in case of lightning or severe weather. The Gift Shop tent is not considered a safe shelter during any storm as well. When thunder roars, go indoors (or into your vehicle).

Treasured Haven Farm Sunflower Days still has Field 7 in full bloom and the weather is gorgeous today. It is a much shorter field which allows pics standing amongst the flowers, which is great for younger or shorter folks.

Field 8 now has blooms beginning to open across the entire field and will be in glorious full bloom by Friday, Sept 12, when the Sunflower Days Reopen for the final two weekends of 2025.

Bring a picnic lunch, take a hike in the woods or to the creek, and just enjoy the countryside. Pets on a leash are welcome.

Treasured Haven Farm Sunflower Days still has Field 7 in full bloom. It is a shorter field which allows pics standing amongst the flowers, especially for younger or shorter folks. There were some passing showers earlier and it's cooler today, Saturday, Sept 6, but tomorrow has a great weather forecast.

Field 8 as a whole is slower to bloom because of such cool nights but it is fun to see all the buds ready to burst and a few open ones allow folks to play a game of Where's Waldo's Sunflowers!!!

Treasured Haven Farm Sunflower Days hopefully will continue for three more weekends.
Friday, Sept 5 looks like a chilly windy start to the weekend so the gift shop will not be open until Saturday Sept 6 at noon.

Field 7 is in full bloom. It is a shorter field which allows pics standing amongst the flowers, especially for younger or shorter folks.

Field 8 is not yet blooming because of the cooler temps that slowed it down so we tentatively plan to add an additional weekend. You can see in this field how the sunflowers do follow the sun in the bud stage. First blooms are starting and should be in full bloom by next weekend.

Treasured Haven Farm Sunflower Days is OPEN Today, Labor Day, Monday, Sept 1, 2025. Gift Shop has great deals as well.

Field 7 is beautiful this morning. It is a shorter field which allows pics standing amongst the flowers, especially for younger or shorter folks. Every field has beauty in its own way, whether bright yellow sunflowers, checking out the buds following the sun in the future field, or checking out the mature sunflowers attracting wildlife. Every field, every day, and every season is unique. Sunflowers are following their life cycle. The growing plant follows the sun to soak in as much of the sun's rays as it can, the brilliant blooms attract the bees who do the work of pollinating the beautiful spiral of seeds, once pollinating is done the bright petals are no longer needed and the heads drop from the weight of the developing seeds... as the fall progresses the plants and heads dry down until harvested in late October or early November. Such is the life of a sunflower.

Field 8 should be blooming for the next two weekends.

Extra bonus today for rock enthusiasts, an area near the last field has had the soil filled and rocks are free for the picking today!

Treasured Haven Farm Sunflower Days is OPEN Today, Sunday, August 31 and Monday, Sept 1, 2025. Gift Shop has great deals as well.

Field 7 has many smiling faces awaiting you and is a little varied in blooming than usual but adding more blooms each day. It is a shorter field which allows many to take Pics standing amongst the flowers. Pics of mainly Field 7 today, but every field has beauty in its own way. Each sunflower only blooms from one to two weeks, so they do age, sometimes gracefully, sometimes not so much, hence why we plant so many fields for farm guests to enjoy. Each Field can vary due to weather at time of planting or other weather conditions like high temps or heavy rains at blooming. Every field and every season is unique Field 8 is about a week away from blooming and will be gorgeous to end the season mid Sept.

Bring a picnic lunch, take a hike in the woods or to the creek, and just enjoy the countryside. Pets on a leash are welcome, but please exercise common pet handling etiquette as many young children are also in attendance.

Every year farming does present it's unique challenges, this years ample rainfall has created a bumper crop of mosquitos that can vary from day to day due to amount of wind or temps so bug spray is recommended to have on hand. There are more weeds than usual in some areas that may affect allergies in those highly susceptible.
