Our last recip ewe lambed today. Hats off to Shane Morgan and crew for their work. 70% of implanted embryos resulted in live babies! Reminder📣📣 we are dispersing our current Australian White genetics. Get ahold of me if you have any interest. We can get creative on package deals! 😉

First wave of meat birds are in! We offer them electrolyte/prebiotic/probiotic water and a Non-GMO starter feed. We will run 1 # per bird of the starter through them before switching to a grower blend to finish them off on pasture. Here’s to nutritious & delicious meat custom raised for our patrons! It’s a Springin, movin, groovin, shakin, and bakin around here! Lambs dropping, pups getting trained and all sorts of activities! High promise of precipitation this week, but we will see what is delivered.

Drilled the oats and peas into the barley today. Beautiful weather and ground conditions. Most of barley was grazed by sheep last fall and I could tell a difference in the biomass and vigor of the barley. This mixture will go for hog and chicken feed. Knowing I would be dragging the drill through the barley this spring, I seeded it a touch heavier to offset the lost plants. It looks more disruptive than it actually is, but we will see how it looks in a few weeks!
