Bloom bars are a fun and interactive experience for bridal showers, baby showers, birthdays, corporate events, and other special occasions. Guests get to create their own beautiful bouquets to take home.

💐 Mother’s Day GIVEAWAY 💐

This little flower farm means so much more to me than just growing flowers.

As a stay at home mom to two little ones, Backyard Blooms has helped close the gaps for our family in this season of life. But beyond that, it has helped me hold onto pieces of myself I never want to lose. The creativity. The passion. The joy of building something with my own hands while raising babies at home.

So this Mother’s Day, I want to give back to another mama in our community.

I’ll be gifting ONE Summer Bouquet Subscription to a local deserving mom. This means the winner will receive one fresh bouquet each month throughout the growing season beginning as soon as the first flowers start blooming here on the farm & ending when the season comes to a close with first frost.

But instead of choosing someone myself, I want the community to decide.

We don’t rush to mow everything down when summer fades over here at Backyard Blooms.

You’ll still see dried zinnias, standing sunflowers, crispy cosmos, and seed-heavy stems swaying through winter and that’s completely intentional.

Leaving our flowers standing:

• Feeds birds through the colder months
• Gives native bees and beneficial insects a safe place to overwinter
• Protects pollinator eggs tucked inside hollow stems
• Shields and nourishes the soil beneath

It might look a little wild. A little undone. But it’s actually one of the most important things we do for next season.

And the best part? While these beds rest and protect life in the quiet of winter… it’s almost time for me to start seeds again. 🌱

Soon trays will be filling up. Tiny sprouts reaching for the light. And before we know it, these same beds will be bursting with color all over again.

Winter on a flower farm isn’t the end, it’s the in-between. The pause before the bloom.

Fresh flowers may be done for the season, but I cut tons to dry & would love to share them with you! I currently have 3 dried floral wreaths available (and a couple more in the works) if you would like one of these or to order a specific color scheme, let me know!

Details: $30 each. 12inch grapevine wreaths. 2&3 SOLD

If there are any other ideas you have seen for dried florals let me know! I am always looking for something to keep my hands busy after my babies go to sleep.

Hey friends 🤍 I have been a little MIA as the season came to a close but I have been experimenting with dried florals and have something to show you all! I’ll be posting tomorrow so stay tuned to see what it is.

In the meantime, I want to say thank you to all who supported me this summer despite my very delayed start. Bigger and better things are already in the works for next year and I can’t wait to share the journey with you all!! 💐🌻🌷🪻🌸
