For my step-daughter's baby shower, we started with what Mom knew she wanted: soft blue and cream colors, hydrangeas, and enough flowers for 50 or so people to enjoy. We went with the small collection, about 80 stems in her chosen palette, $350.

With simple DIY instructions we were able to use the curated stems to create arrangements for 5 dining tables, 3 serving tables, and an entry table.

I love this option!

Let me introduce myself!

I’m a YouTube-taught gardener between Gallatin and Rusk, Texas. For now, I’m just tending a garden on my husband’s family farm, but every time I look out toward the pasture, I see flower fields.

I fell in love with zinnias in my friend’s garden, and now I’m somehow on year 3 of my own garden journey.

My ADHD brain makes perfect, weed-free rows basically impossible. Any kind of planting or fertilizing schedule is mostly a pipe dream. Things usually end up turning into chaos gardening.

But despite me, the flowers thrive.

I really love that about them.

Recent cuts from the garden. Zinnias are getting bigger and happier the hotter it gets! Yes these homegrown flowers are imperfect next to wholesale and professional flowers but they have so much character and personality. I just love working with what we have intentionally grown.
