Cheap eggs? Awesome right? 😒😏
Grocery store eggs are usually 30 days old by the time they reach the store. The hens that lay them are confined to cages and fed hormones, steroids, antibiotics, and are discarded once they can’t produce anymore. The hens lifespan is usually 18 months 😕
Here at Happy Hen my chickens are pasture raised and fed high quality feed. Never any hormones, antibiotics, or steroids. Their favorite snacks? Sunflower seeds and mealworms. My hens are loved from the time they hatch as little chicks up until they pass peacefully from old age. You will get unwashed fresh eggs daily with a taste you can’t get from a grocery store egg!
