Old girl has a dam good udder for being fifteen and having typically raised the biggest calf. On top of that she is by far the smartest bovine I have ever worked with.

I think a lot of people would be surprised at how useful a pair of calves can be. Additionally, reasonable and well managed tasks are good for them and serve as great training. Lily worked with these guys twice a day everyday until the end of our fair. Due to school and band they only get worked with once a week now and it is easy to see they miss her attention.
