We are so proud of these good mares. Seems like yesterday we were watching them romp the pasture with their momas. ARA finals in the books! Julian was 2nd for the year 3rd in the average. Thank you Steve Williams for all your hard work training & hauling these girls. I know you’re proud of them. Good luck at the upcoming ACA finals.

Picture day for Drewem KR Rootn Hootn Cowboy *B CM n/n. He’s our little “shorty” but he’s finally coming in to his own and maturing nicely. He’s not much taller than our 19 week old buckling and he’s nine months old but lots of TLC and this boy has really blossomed. He’s confirmed bred to 3 really nice yearling coming 2 yos for late winter kiddings. We can’t wait to see this cross on Wolfivan Kentucky Bourbon grand daughters / to this own son of Wolfivan Kava Kava Root. If you’re fan of the Wolfivan lines, you might be interested. Wait list is free.

Baby bucks (17 wks actually) are so clumsy, clueless, but oh so precious and….he did pretty good for his first time. This was thanks in part to his very willing and patient partner Auntie Blondie. This will be a 13.35% line breeding on some of our best animals. His dam was also bred to Winning Streak O Lucky Finegan yesterday for a very nice breeding.

So…this repeat breeding happened today. Two Socks produced 3 outstanding kids the last time she was bred to Bourbon. She was put on milk test that same year as a FF and goodness! did she do an outstanding job! She easily made *M (AR) milking over 1000lbs. She has a gorgeous well attached udder & the possibility for blue eyes is there also (if that’s something you like) Her bucklings will inherit their *B. I retained a doe from her last breeding to Bourbon and she is outstanding. Let me know if you’d like on her reservation list. 2B 1 D available. Visitors always welcome!
