Eggs are in production as I post this! Still $3 per dozen. 🍳
The seasonal moult has begun for part of the flock so I am only getting about 2 dozen a day at this time, but I will continue to put out whatever I have. Enjoy this beautiful last weekend of summer! 🌻

We had an adorable surprise last night doing barn chores....a full dozen chicks were cozy under their mom! Our hens have gone feral and hatched them outside. They are now safely with mom in a secluded coop until they're big enough to meet the flock. Here's hoping they are all hens 🤞Mama hen would only let me get these 2 snapshots

Good morning! Fresh bread is out at the stand! $4 per loaf, a rustic white bread that's great for pretty much any sandwich or toast you can think of. We also have some monster sized supersteak tomatoes for any fried green tomato fans. 50 cents each. Eggs will be restocked throughout the day as soon as the hens lay them. Have a great day!

Chickens love real food just like we do! They are great for eating our table scraps. Here you'll see one of our roosters, King Louis - the big fluffy white one - announcing the food to his hens. He won't eat it, but will ensure that the hens are aware of the treat delivery. He's the best rooster a girl could ask for!
