Growing up at the lively Bourgeois home every meal was
special... even if it was simple. Wholesome, healthy and flavorful were the base of all dishes
and these French Acadian recipes have been passed down
for generations. Family time was a whirlwind of activity
with everyone participating in chopping or measuring,
searching old cookbooks, making phone calls to relatives to
check on ingredients and

amounts, and setting just the right
colorful table. We hope it gives you a small
sampling of our world that consists of the many delicious
tastes and aromas that we have cherished through the years.
