Living in the country is never boring.
Today's surprise was a group of horses wandering onto our property like they were showing up for an all-inclusive vacation. They didn't call ahead, didn't make reservations, and certainly didn't ask permission. They just arrived with the confidence of people who own the place.
Our animals all responded differently. The chickens carried on with their day. The goats looked mildly offended. The dogs were alarmed. And I was standing there trying to figure out when exactly we became a horse farm.
You can make all the plans you want for the day, but country life will always find a way to add a plot twist. 🤣🐴
