Fall is keeping us busy here at Scenic View Orchards, and we have some exciting news to share this week!

Our very own Scenic View Orchards pasta sauces are finally here! This week we picked up the finished jars of sauce made from our produce harvested at the peak of summer.

Back in August, we sent nearly 2,900 pounds of tomatoes, over 200 pounds of sweet Italian peppers, and over 200 pounds of onions to be processed into three delicious varieties:

Exciting events in the beautiful Catoctin Mountains this weekend!

Catoctin Colorfest in Thurmont, MD will be held October 10 and 11, rain or shine, and is open from 9-5 both days! Our stand will be setup across from the community park on Frederick Road.

A bonus to visiting our roadside stand in Sabillasville that same weekend is that Sabillasville Environmental School is hosting their 50th Annual Mountain Fest & Car Show!

Stop by both places for great food, views and fun!

It's hard to believe, but we just started pulling our last planting of sweet corn for the season! If you want to enjoy fresh local sweet corn one more time before next summer, this week and next week will likely be your last chance.

Fall harvest and decorating season are also in full swing. We're picking more pumpkins and fall favorites every day, so be sure to keep checking the online store as we continue adding new varieties.

We're also busy getting everything ready for Mountain Fest in Sabillasville and Colorfest in Thurmont. It's going to be a busy weekend, but we're looking forward to seeing lots of familiar faces!

If you're out enjoying either event, be sure to stop by and see us for some fresh produce or an ice-cold Scenic View Orchards c***r. We'll have plenty of fall favorites ready for you.
