3 oz Mario’s Hard Espresso
3 oz Premium tonic or sparkling water
Orange slice (or citrus of choice) for garnish

Like so many who crossed oceans with little more than hope, tenacity and hard work, my grandfather came here chasing a dream and opportunity.

This Memorial Day, we remember those who made that dream possible. The brave men and women who served and sacrificed so families like ours could build a life, feed their families, find success and share stories for generations to come.

From our family to yours, we raise a glass and say Pensa Salute - to the dreamers, the doers, and those we’ll never forget.

The very proud older man in the photo? That’s my grandfather (and namesake) Giuseppe who left Sicily at age 19 to build a better life in America. He’s standing with my Uncle Carmen, his oldest son who at the time was a B-17 pilot in WWII.

Today we honor all those that have sacrificed to make our lives, and dreams possible. 🙏🏻❤️🙏🏻

1.75 Oz Mario’s Hard Espresso
1.75 OZ Basil Hayden Bourbon
3/4 Oz Amaro Nonino
3 Dashes Angostura Orange Bitters
Orange Peel Garnish
Stir ingredients with ice, strain into coupe.

This is grandma Rose and my mom Mary Rose, proudly posing in front of the family store in upstate New York. They provided our family the gifts of compassion, unconditional love, acceptance, integrity, and the most incredible work ethic you can imagine. They set the bar high for us and we are forever indebted to their example.

This one really hits. For those of you who know me, you know how much the town of Locke in the Sacramento Delta means to me. And this place? Al The Wops? It’s like the center of the earth for tradition and originality. I mean come on, the name alone is so PC!

The Mario’s Carajillo
2 oz Mario’s Hard Espresso
2 oz coffee concentrate (we love Stumptown’s
Cold Brew Concentrate)
3/4 Tequila Blanco
Dash of cinnamon
Pinch of salt
Shake hard over ice. Double strain over rocks glass. Garnish with expressed orange peel.
