It’s officially SUMMER, so you know what that means? COLD BEER! To be fair, we have cold beer year-round but it hits different in the Summer months! Here’s what’s up this week in the tap room:

On Wednesday, Rudy’s Island Grill & Catering will be here with food. Left Right Left Running Club club will be doing a loop around Lavender Heights. They take off from the brewery at 630 pm - come run (or walk) with us! At 7, Nick is BACK with DJ Bingo . You’ll play four rounds of music bingo with a chance to win a prize in each round. It’s low-stakes (FREE) but high-fun!

On Thursday, Bahay Kubo Food Truck - Home of the Filipino Bánh Mì™ is here with eats starting at 5 pm. We kick off our weekly game of general-knowledge trivia with Think Tank’d Trivia at 6:30 pm. Our game has 30 questions and topics cover a wide variety of subjects - we’ve got geography and we’ve got pop culture, with lotsa stops in between. There’s even puzzles and music. Assemble a team and come compete! USA takes on Türkiye at 7 pm, we’ll have the match on, but WITHOUT sound so we can still play trivia.

Friday, The Sprig are stopping thru with a full menu. We play music trivia with Tune Platoon at 630 pm. Four rounds, various categories - it’s the ULTIMATE music knowledge test and a true challenge for music lovers! Groups encouraged, although solo folks have been known to win + we’ve got prizes for this game too. We’ll have the World Cup matches on the TVs.

On Saturday, we’ll have the World Cup matches on at 2, 430 and 7 pm. Soulonarollsac will be here at 3 pm with soul food. At 5 pm, join us for Cheese At Ease - a beer and cheese pairing with thefriendlyfromager . Enjoy four of our craft beers expertly matched with four delish cheeses. Sunday, The Sprig is back with food. We’ve got the World Cup game on at noon. Cady S. Moore, MPH, CSE is here with Hotties & Hops, a gals’ meet-up, at 3 pm. Lookin’ to have a gouda time? We’ve put together a pairing event where hops meet curds in the most delicious way possible.

We’re serving up four craft beers (5 oz each), each carefully matched with an artisan cheese that’ll make your taste buds do a happy dance.

You’ll be guided through this flavorful journey by thefriendlyfromager —a certified cheese monger with a rind-blowing knowledge of all things dairy— who knows exactly which beer styles play nicest with funky, nutty, creamy, or sharp cheeses.

Expect pours and plenty of passion for pairing as we explore what makes beer and cheese the ultimate dynamic duo. Whether you’re a cheddar chaser, brie believer, or just curd-curious, this event is nacho average tasting.

It’s WORLD CUP time, and if we’re open, we’ve got it on. We’re trackin’ the teams and filling in Panini America sticker books? Are you? There’s other things happening this week too, here’s the line up:

We are going into our 7th year feeling all the love and support. Thank you so much for coming out and celebrating with us, we had such a fun anniversary and it was WONDERFUL to see so many friends this weekend. We are back to it this week (albeit a bit tired) and even adding an OPEN day to our schedule in observation of Memorial Day - we will be here noon to 8 pm on Monday!

Our regular Wednesday line-up is a go with with food, with a loop around midtown and with a game of music bingo. Food starts at 5 pm and the rest of the evening flows from there - lotsa opportunities to be a winner on Wednesdays!

On Thursday, is here with eats starting at 5 pm and trivia with starts at 6:30 pm. We play a game of 30 questions in the theme of: GENERAL KNOWLEDGE. Topics cover a wide variety of subjects! Assemble a team, snag a table and compete - we’ve got prizes!

Friday, our buds are stopping thru with Argentinian cuisine, including some fresh empandas! We play music trivia with .platoon at 630 pm. Four rounds, various categories - it’s the ULTIMATE music knowledge test and there’s prizes for winners. Groups encouraged, although solo folks have been known to win too!

On Saturday, is back with Filipino-fusion cuisine. We are hosting our favorite evening activity - Jazz Night at 7 pm. Come check out and his jazz quartet, covering jazz standards and bosa nova hits. The vibes are chill, and the sound is 👌 . A great way to unwind on a Saturday night!

Sunday, Sac’s newest indie-bookstore, , is back with a book fair in the beer garden. We’ll have a curated selection of books for you to shop, all while you sip beer. It’s an ideal situation out there! with be here with eats and we’ve got our game night at 4 pm. Come play Magic, or board games, or card games, or a crowd-fave - Yahtzee!

We are throwing another day into the line up, as we are OPEN on Memorial Day. We’ll be pouring beer from noon until 8 pm, if you need a spot to stop to hang. will be here with eats!

On this day in 2019 - after a year of build out, a lot of anticipation, and approximately 2 hours after passing our last building inspection - WE OPENED!

7 years has flown by, and we couldn’t be more grateful for the ride it’s been! It’s a joy to serve you Mike’s beer from the corner of 19th and I & live out a dream in the process.

For our anniversary, we are leaning into our #1 seller over the last 7 years - Presidio, our West Coast IPA. This was on tap day one (May 15, 2019), and it continues to be a crowd fave.

We brought a new can label to life to celebrate this beer - which is kind of exciting for us because it’s our first single beer label. One of our team members, and everyone’s favorite Dodger fan, came up with a concept & our buds ran with it. The can art evolution is neat to witness & we couldn’t be happier with the results. We think the template will work for future can labels. 👀

You can get a first edition print of this label when it drops on cans this Saturday, May 16. We are selling 4 packs of this one, and the first run of labels have a special mark.
