🍽️THIS ORDER:
💙 Lokum: I LOVE Turkish Delight. There’s really nothing like it. Though it’s described as jelly, it’s as if gummy and marshmallow had a baby. Lots of flavors in their display case. They have packaged sets, too.
💙 Ayran: I first had this in Turkey, where I fell in love with having it with beef or lamb. It’s savory, creamy drink with beef or lamb.
💙 Spanakopita: We also love Spanakopita and the shell on this is so perfectly crisp, buttery and thin. It’s very spinachy (which I like).
💙 Lamb Burger w/ side of Greek Fries: The lamb patty was juicy. Big helping of feta. Greek Fries were perfect for me since I was craving even more feta and tzatziki.
💙 Iskender: Thin, crisp slices of beef and lamb gyro drenched with a savory tomato sauce. Pieces of pita are also drenched in the juices and sauce. Yogurt on the side.
💙 Oven Roasted Half Chicken: Chicken had crisp skin. It was juicy and fun to eat. We had Salad and Rice with Chickpeas on the side but our favorite side remains the Greek Fries.
