Sunday is for your herb stories, and we want to hear the ritual you keep, the plant you reach for, and the grandmother or mother who first put it in your hands, because healing is personal when it grows in community, and ancestral intelligence lives in the stories we share.

Post your uprising moment beginning with "Today's act of uprising: ..." and tag us so we can share it with the circle.

Flashback Friday to a farm tour, when the Sac State Black Student Union came out to learn about the land, and to how every visit brings us back to why this work belongs to families and communities.

There is no culture without Agriculture, and it is strongest when people work together communally and as family, which is why education at Yisrael Farms stays rooted in the land itself.

Come learn the land with us on a Farm Immersion: tr.ee/VisitUS

Our Lavender bar soap is handcrafted for the ritual you keep, and lavender is renowned for calming and quieting the mind while promoting deep relaxation, so a few minutes at the sink become care you practice for yourself: wash slowly, let the day go as you rinse, and take one breath.

This is care you practice, a daily act of reclamation, and your skin deserves that respect.

Wednesday is proof, and this week the proof is the flock in the rural area, born in March and April and grass-fed from then to now, where the sheep have gained 45 lbs since birth and are getting ready for harvest.

We hold that work to the same standard as everything we steward, because regeneration must be measurable, and we do, track, then correct as the season moves.

This week's Harvest Dispatch: we harvested 10 lbs of mixed greens, 5 lbs of peppers, and 1 gallon of honey w**e, and we celebrated the Feast of Harvest with those who keep the day with us, because participation creates ownership and a fed community is harder to control.

This is what organized nourishment looks like, and it belongs in the hands of the people.

The first of our 12 Laws of the Land says that land is a responsibility, and we learned to carry that responsibility over 18 years, from backyard gardener to urban farmer to seasoned land steward, by understanding the Earth's needs and cooperating with them.

Yisrael Farms exists to cultivate sovereignty through land stewardship, and we manage our land with Afro-Indigenous methods, seasonal growing, and harvest excellence, as a system we plant, increase, maintain, and pass on.

The Earth is a living system with needs that we must cooperate with if we plan to live in right relationship with her.

Our fall canning class gathered under the grape arbor for Reclaiming Kitchen Wisdom, and with Judith Yisrael teaching we canned beets and tomatoes and pickled garlic and onions, and the lessons went hand to hand around the circle.

Ancestral intelligence beats trend cycles, and the kitchen is one of the places where that intelligence lives and where we keep it in practice season after season.

Education comes alive in application, and our educators translate wisdom into applied teaching at every stage, so the learning at every class happens in the hands of the people who came to learn.

This is how we pass on what we know, together, and in right relationship with the harvest and with each other.
