The Sacramento Valley Boxer Club (SVBC) was started before 1985 with a small group of boxer lovers meeting monthly in each others living rooms. It took several years to hold our first sanctioned matches and with a great deal of work and pride, we finally held our first AKC point specialty show in conjunction with the 1995 American Boxer Club Regional in Pleasanton, California. Jack Bradshaw Dog Show Superintendents listened! They created this simple flow chart to help guide you along the way from the first class of the day when 6 to 9 month old puppies enter the ring to the prestigious Best In Show.

Spring News from SVBC.

After attending a canine emergency seminar, I put together a first aid kit that included Elizabethan collars, bandages, eye wash, antibacterial ointment and contact information for the emergency vet. I was feeling pretty prepared, though, of course, I hoped that I’d never have to use any of it.
