Update for those who are waiting for meat birds:

The birds are still growing out nicely. These guys in particular take an extra 2 weeks than our last batch. So we are hoping to process the 21st or the 28th. I will keep everyone posted on the date that we process.

The Power of Pasture-Raised Chickens!
Swipe to see the difference 8 months can make.

The lush, green pasture you see? That’s where our chickens and chicks have been grazing, including our meat birds raised in mobile chicken tractors. They naturally fertilized the land, scratched, pecked, and helped the soil thrive — creating a healthier, greener pasture.

The second photo shows the area where no chickens or chicks have grazed… and you can clearly see the difference. Sparse grass, tired soil, and none of the vibrant life you see where our flocks have been at work.

This is just one of the many reasons we believe so strongly in pasture-raising — it’s better for the birds, better for the land, and better for the future.

These little feathered teddy bears are known for their soft, silk-like plumage, giving them a one-of-a-kind appearance.
