Grippo’s Bar-B-Q chips come straight out of Cincinnati, Ohio and have had a cult following across Ohio, Kentucky, and Indiana for decades. The company was founded by Angelo Grippo in 1919, originally making ice cream cones and pretzels before adding potato chips in 1959.

What made Grippo’s legendary wasn’t just the crunch — it was the seasoning. Their BBQ chips became famous for the heavy layer of sweet, smoky, peppery powder packed on every chip.
