So excited to see everyone tonight at the Sadieville market on Main from 6 to 9 PM! There will be a food truck and country boy is going to be there as well!

Just finished packaging up our granola! And I have a literal ton of cookies ready to roll for tonight!

I’m making our pastures bigger and adding silver pastures so I needed a few more links of fence. We order from Premier one, I use the electrostop netting with two prongs at the bottom to step into the ground. I do not recommend the single prong and I do not recommend any flimsy version of this fencing. We were using a much less robust fence with a single prong when two dogs killed three of our sheep. So, please learn from us.

Take a vacation days, they said. Every time I take a vacation day someone seems to have some sort of emergency. Today, Macy has ripped out her ear tag, leaving a nasty tear in her ear.

Sheep and lamb meet and greet this Sunday, June 14th, from 2-4. This is a drop-in event where you can learn about wool and hair sheep, their nutrition, and our rotational grazing system. The very best part will be meeting all of our lambs, and hugging them! ❤️ $5 per person, kids 12 and under are free, either in advance using our Square link or you are more than welcome to pay the day of the event.

Our stuffed cookies will be available for four dollars each as long as supplies last.

We are located at 1784 Porter Rd., Sadieville, KY. We are just off of exit 136, I 75. Gravel driveway, park at the barn.

We will be at the Sadieville Market on Main this Saturday from 6-9pm with caramel-stuffed, s’mores stuffed, Reese’s stuffed, Oreo-stuffed and oatmeal cream pie cookies for $4 each.

🍪 🍪 🍪 🍪 New for this market are stuffed cookie flights. You’ll get one of each stuffed cookie, so four cookies total, for $15.

👝🍯🐝Also new for this market is our 6-ingredient granola, sweetened with honey. 10oz bags will be $8.

Not really, you should never negotiate with terrorists. But, I did get the third fence up so I was able to get the boys moved into their new pasture. They are so excited. I’m hoping that adding three fences instead of two will buy me another week, but I’ll just have to see how quickly they’re eating everything down. It is so much work to get these fences put up. So, I think for the next one I may actually use four and try to do a more permanent fencing approach. So, one across the top two down the sides and then one across the bottom. Now, I have to work with the woods so we’ll have to see. I’m hoping to keep rotating them through the woods until I turn them back in with the girls around November or December. We have quite a bit of woods to go, but it’s gonna be quite a bit of work.

It’s been a long road with these bottles, and with the calf, I did it to myself. I’m hoping to have her weaned by August 1 so we can have a well-deserved vacation.

AI has done lied to me, my boys were able to clear a quarter acre pasture in eight days, not three weeks. So I am scrambling to get their new pasture set up early in the morning and during my lunch breaks and they are eating Hay. They are really, really unhappy about the Hay. 😂😂😂

Shawn, Jasper, and Lucas have launched a complaint at their local, whatever union it is that sheep belong to. The way Shawn is yelling at me, I expect to see some papers coming by FedEx any minute now.
