The little baby chicks are big ❤️❤️❤️ these are our homemade olive eggers so I’m so excited to see the eggs they start laying in 6 months!

Bottle calves. The stress. Link started getting pneumonia (I think) two nights ago. He’d managed to get his coat off overnight and it had gotten pretty cold. Fever of 103.6, nasal junk here and there, completely off bottles. Bottle calves go downhill quick so we checked in with and borrowed some medicine to get him through from Crow's Bluff Farm. He’s back to normal…temp was 100.5 this morning and he drank his full bottle tonight. ❤️ Linky. Keeping us on our toes

PSA, neither cattle nor sheep can have large quantities of acorns and this year is an unbelievable crop! I’m currently raking out the pasture under two huge oak trees. I bet I could fill 2 50 pound bags so far. 🫠🫠

Bolt was pretty lonely without another cow so w decided to find him a brother. Meet Link, a Brown Swiss steer bottle calf. Link likes slipping under his corral panels so he can sleep with Bolt, hearing things with his big ears, and being very sweet. ❤️❤️❤️
