With sunset getting earlier and earlier and the crisp chill in the morning air, I’m beginning to accept that summer (my favorite season) has come to a close. Thank you for filling our space during those warm “happy chaos” months with your laughter, your appreciation, your patronage, your children, your friends, your wonder. It was another busy high season and we loved spending it with you.
Thank you, too, to our SGS team who stood for hours and boxed, bagged, restocked, scooped, swirled, rolled, fried, baked, decorated, brewed, cleaned - and yet smiled through it all. You are superheroes!
And now, as tomatoes and corn make way for pumpkins and apples, we can’t wait to welcome you in for hearty soup and steaming hot chocolate. Get ready for our second annual fall baking contest and some spooky Halloween decor. If you look closely by the sled out back, you will see that some stray seeds from last October have sprouted into spectacularly gnarly gourds. Oh the magic of nature! Oh the beauty of Sagaponack!
